Role: Direct Sales / Channel Sales
Number of Positions: 2
Location: Pune / Nagpur
Experience level: 10+ years in the sales domain
The person would be responsible for driving Direct sales for Pune Projects, meet customers, negotiate and close the sales. Should be able to support / execute various marketing campaigns and generate good volume from other BTL activities as well. Improve lead to conversion ratio.
- Calling and follow up on the assigned leads and Improve lead to conversion ratio.
- Meet customers, negotiate and close the sales.
- Supporting marketing team to execute events, activations
Key Accountabilities - :
- Channel Partner screening and creating a network of channel intermediaries
- Screens for potential channel partners, with specific target markets, in consistence with the business requirements
- The incumbent will be responsible for achievement of sales targets for the assigned site through sales planning, promotion strategy, overseeing sales administration and organizing market research.
- Considers factors like size, viability, suitability for target market, management competency, etc of the channel partners
- Researches on channel partners' track record, experience, credibility, technical knowledge, etc
- Maintains the paperwork related to channel partner registration
- Creates and maintains a database of channel partners
Managing Channel Network
- Aligns the channel partner with the organization's long term goals to ensure maximum mutual profitability
- Develops a roadmap for establishing a smooth and stable working relationship with the channel partner
- Compares revenue impact vs availability of alternatives while dealing with partners.
- Follows up with channel partners to meet targets
- Maintains MIS records of Channel partners' performance
- Keeps track of invoices and payments from channel partners
