Chief Information Officer (CIO) or Head of Enterprise Architecture Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Business Architect to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role will shape the strategic direction of our company's business architecture in the fast-paced food retail industry. You'll be responsible for understanding complex business needs, translating them into technology roadmaps, and promoting solutions that drive efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage. Key Requirements Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Minimum 6+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or business architecture roles. Proven track record in the

food, retail

industry or a closely related sector is highly advantageous. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of business process modeling methodologies (e.g., BPMN, UML) Proficient in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) Experience with data modeling, integration technologies, and API design. Solid grasp of cloud-based solutions and their applications in retail settings. Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to identify complex business requirements and map them to technological solutions. Strong understanding of business capabilities and how they align with technology. Data-driven approach to decision-making and architectural recommendations. Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding communication skills – able to convey complex technical concepts to various stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams. Proven ability to build relationships across the organization, collaborating with business units and IT departments. Responsibilities Develop Business Architecture:

Lead the development and maintenance of the company's enterprise business architecture, aligning it with overarching business goals. Translate Business Needs:

Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable technology solutions. Identify Opportunities:

Continuously analyze existing processes and technologies to pinpoint areas for improvement, innovation, and cost optimization. Drive Transformation:

Champion digital transformation initiatives within the food retail context, leveraging modern technologies to enhance customer experience and business operations. Solution Architecting:

Collaborate with solution architects to design and implement technology solutions aligned with business architecture. Governance & Standards:

Contribute to the development of architectural standards, governance models, and best practices to ensure consistency and maintainability. Communication & Presentation:

Present architectural plans, roadmaps, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
