Role and Responsibilities:
The Java/Python Consultant at Flair Deck Consulting plays a fundamental role in researching designing developing and deploying software solutions using Java and Python. The position involves collaborating with clients to establish software requirements designing and implementing Java/Pythonbased solutions ensuring seamless integration with existing systems conducting thorough testing and debugging providing technical support and staying updated with industry best practices. The consultant will also contribute to the documentation and training of endusers provide technical expertise to junior team members and participate in continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Java Spring Boot REST API and Python skillset to develop software solutions
• Develop ORM and JPI for database handling
• Expertise in API development and web services
• Collaborate with clients to establish software requirements and project specifications
• Design develop and implement Java/Pythonbased software solutions
• Integrate Java/Python applications with existing systems
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Java/Python applications
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Java and Python development
• Assist in the documentation and training of endusers
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations
• Respond to and resolve client issues in a timely manner
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of development tools and technologies
• Contribute to the design and architecture of software applications

Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field along with proven experience in software development using Java and Python. Proficiency in objectoriented programming strong understanding of the software development lifecycle experience with database management systems and SQL knowledge of web application development and excellent problemsolving skills are essential. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities the capability to work independently and in a team environment familiarity with version control systems such as Git experience with agile development practices and certifications in Java and Python are advantageous. The candidate should also demonstrate an understanding of cloud computing microservices architecture and software security principles and best practices.
