Job Title: Lead Software Engineer
Location: Bangalore

Job Summary
This position requires supporting development, implementation and roll-out of custom layout automation solution in Virtuoso Studio. Specific job requirement involves
- Capturing and driving requirements for Custom/ Analog IC design implementation (placement & routing) in the Virtuoso platform, especially for advanced process technologies.
- Helping enable layout automation for foundries through close collaboration with all stakeholders
- Building reference flows to demonstrate layout automation solutions for foundries
Job Requirements
- Strong IC design knowledge especially in the custom domain (front to back), along with knowledge of advanced process technologies
- Good programming knowledge to develop utilities for customer specific needs when a solution is not readily available in the software, along with debugging and analytical skills
- Strong written, verbal and communication skills to present and demonstrate solution to customers and to generate necessary documentation and collateral
- Ability to work effectively across functions and geographies to interface with R&D and customer
- Ability to explore and innovate to address challenging problems
Qualification and Experience
- ME/MS/MTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in IC design and/ or EDA tool development
