The project
This is a 1.5 million sq. ft. of R&D Centre and Factory project in electronic city, Bengaluru, comprising of 2 basements and five towers of different height each. It is an SEZ and Industrial construction project.

The opportunity
Input and assisting in the management of the MEP services delivery, health and safety and subcontractor performance and wellbeing, whilst liaising with the client, main contractor and consultants.
To learn and develop core knowledge and skills showing, drive and enthusiasm whilst taking responsibility for their own professional development.
You’ll be responsible for:
Reporting to MEP manager, responsible for day-to-day MEP-PHE activities.
Reviewing plans and specifications according to the plan.
Preparing installation strategies for plumbing, drainage and general piping system.
Conducting inspections of completed MEP works and providing technical support to architects, designers regarding installation and maintenance of PHE System.
Evaluating plumbing and firefighting related problems and formulating solutions and supporting line managers in other areas also such as HVAC or electrical.
Identifying problems in the design, and planning, and able to challenge the designers.
Evaluating the work of consultants, contractors, and others.
Preparing and delivering effective oral presentations whenever required.
Preparing reports on progress and completed works.
Updating project lead on technical issues that may arise and working towards close out of all such issues.
Advising the line manager of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress, e.g. quality or snag.
Reviewing the contractor’s construction schedule during the progress of the site works with regards to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services and reporting to the line manager on the same.
Managing day-to-day work of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing team.
Ensuring the logging of the mechanical and plumbing documentation is undertaken in line with the project handbook and continually monitoring the same.
Completely responsible for all plumbing and firefighting works in particular and all of MEPF in general.
About you
Bachelor's degree in mechanical.
