Job Description Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for the leadership of Global Commercial CoE (GCC) located in India. GCC's primary objective is to improve Grid Digital's technical proposal quality and reduce cycle time while submitting proposals for both customers and partners across the globe. In addition, GCC will also be responsible for managing global M&S renewals. As GCC leader, you are expected to partner with the regional Commercial teams to develop a winning proposal meeting both customer requirements and aligned to internal risk framework. You will be expected to execute on strategic objectives, build a framework of end to end technical proposal delivery within GCC and work with the practice leaders to drive the commercial and technical write ups, costing and high level execution plans, maximizing efficiency and proposal execution. India GCC is expected to grow to significant volume of FTE's by 2025.
Job Description
- Lead technical proposal development teams comprising of both CSE's and PMO resources
- Lead a M&S renewals team responsible for global renewals including tracking, issuing proposals and closing deals
- Build processes to deliver end to end technical proposals and maximize proposal volume being delivered by GCC
- Proposal simplification and automation to transform proposal generation process at GCC
- Understand and implement best practices to improve proposal quality, team productivity and latest automation and AI trends in the industry
- Improve and sustain Customer Satisfaction (both internal and external)
- Develop Standard work and operational rhythms for global commercial CoE teams
- Create a global Renewals COE to manage more than $100M+ of M&S renewals globally
- Develop and implement scorecards and metrics for India GCC team
- Drive reduction of cost to bid metric for the India GCC team
- Ensure the execution of repeatable processes, focusing on continuous improvement to drive delivery standards and quality
- Maintain strong relationships with cross functional and region leaders
- Promote a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with applicable EHS and Regulatory policies and procedures.
- Drive change initiatives focused on improving efficiencies and executing on business commitments
- Provide proactive leadership of direct reports to include ongoing direction, coaching, and career development
- Optimize resources & resources deployment to achieve operational metrics & productivity targets for internal and external resources
- Own operational processes (Team utilization, training, tool utilization, effort standardization etc.).
- Act as main point of contact for regional commercial directors, ensuring customer's ongoing satisfaction (including gathering client and internal VOC).
- Work with appropriate stakeholders to drive escalations to closure by facilitating internal communication and ensuring internal processes are leveraged
- Forecast and track resource requirement from regional teams and work collaboratively with other regions to forecast resource demand
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Sales & Proposals. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

- Able to deliver on multiple priorities and take ownership for diverse workstreams ensuring smooth transition and setting up consistent high quality delivery
- Demonstrated experience with software system implementation organizations - prior experience managing proposal teams/deal desk
- Process improvement experience, driving operational and technological innovation
