Job description
Responsibilities:
- WordPress Theme and Plugin Development:
- Design and implement new features and functionality for our website using WordPress.
- Develop custom themes and plugins to enhance website performance and user experience.
- Website Maintenance:
- Regularly update and maintain the companys WordPress website ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs in a timely manner.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the design and marketing teams to implement website design and functionality changes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and understand project requirements.
- Optimization:
- Conduct website performance tests and implement optimizations to improve speed and responsiveness.
- Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and WordPress developments to suggest improvements.
- Security:
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the website from potential threats.
- Conduct regular security audits and updates to ensure the integrity of the website.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Web Development or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in PHP HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with WordPress including theme and plugin development.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies and frameworks (e.g. React Angular).
- ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to analyze and solve complex problems efficiently.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work.
