Job Description :One of the US based Sports companies (offices in Germany, Brazil, China and India) is setting up an office in Bengaluru . For their IT Division (expected to grow rapidly in numbers), they are looking for Lead Developers- ShopifyThe ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Shopify platform capabilities and possess strong technical expertise to develop and customize Shopify solutions tailored to our business needs. As a Lead Shopify Developer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our e-commerce platform, ensuring its performance, scalability, and reliability.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement custom Shopify themes, templates, and functionalities. - Customize and extend existing Shopify features to enhance user experience and meet business objectives. - Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend Shopify's core functionality. - Optimize website performance, page load times, and overall user experience. - Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions. - Stay updated on the latest Shopify updates, trends, and best practices, and recommend enhancements accordingly. - Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications :- 7+ years of experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. - Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio highlighting Shopify projects and customizations. - In-depth knowledge of Shopify platform architecture, Shopify APIs, Liquid programming language and Liquid Template Engines. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and NodeJS. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, WooCommerce) is a plus. - Shopify certification(s) is a plus.
