Job description
GCP Data EngineerResponsibilities :Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :- Design, implement, and manage GCP infrastructure using Terraform.- Maintain version-controlled IaC scripts for automated deployments.CI/CD :- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Google Cloud Build and Jenkins.- Automate testing and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable releases.Containers and Orchestration :- Containerize applications using Docker.- Deploy and manage containers on GCP Kubernetes Engine.Monitoring and Logging :- Set up monitoring and logging using Stack driver.- Create alerts for system events and performance metrics.Security and Compliance :- Implement GCP security best practices.- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance.Collaboration :- Collaborate with development and operations teams for efficient deployment.- Provide documentation and training on DevOps practices.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a GCP environment.- Proficient in Python and Shell scripting.- GCP Professional DevOps Engineer certification is a plus.Skills :- Expertise in Terraform for IaC.- Experience with Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, and Git.- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.- Familiarity with Stackdriver for monitoring.- Understanding of GCP networking and security.
