Job Purpose / Objectives: As Project manager you are responsible for projects regarding the outsourcing of stamping dies and internal infrastructural projects. With your experience in tool & die design and project management, you are able to understand and perform projects on world class level according the customer standards and you can motivate and support your team in a sophisticated manner. You are able to connect to the shop floor as well as to the customer. An open attitude, conceptual thinking and getting things done, is part of your nature. You can structure your work and you can focus on deadlines without losing overview. Job Responsibilities and Major Activities / Tasks: Responsible for Tool & Die projects with European and Asian suppliers and to achieve the agreed targets in time, quality and budget. Responsible from RFQ’s and CAD-release to SOP and Note 1 quality. Responsible for internal projects as per requirement. Setup a project management monitoring system together with Program manager and colleagues Project managers. Responsible for communication and reporting to Program manager and the customer Able to identify bottlenecks and able to connect for mutual technical understanding. Able to do Tool buy-off independently. Major Competencies / Skill Areas Below is a list of the key competencies required for this position. · Proven abilities as Project manager in an industrial environment. Certified Project management IPMA. · Good knowledge of stamping dies in design and manufacturing. · Good knowledge of sheet materials and deep draw technology. · Experienced in stamping dies for sheet metal. · Hands on experience on process planning, capacity planning and layouts planning. · Clear understanding of project management in an automotive environment. Is able to build project plans and tracker systems. · Can handle high pressure and get things done in good corporation with all parties. Inter-personal skills (behaviour): Below is a list of the Interpersonal skills required for this position. Can operate in an international environment. Good written, VC, telephonic and oral communication skills Good presentation & social skills.
