The Technology division is responsible for the world leading application of technology across every aspect of CommBank, from innovative product platforms for our customers to essential tools within our business.
The data security crew build, own and operate data security solutions across the Bank. The data loss prevention and information protection squads implement and maintain data loss prevention solutions across our endpoints, network, SaaS and communication channels to protect our sensitive data.
Do work that matters The Product Owner – Data Loss Prevention works alongside the Product Owner – Information Protection to define the product vision and roadmap for data loss prevention solutions such as Cloud Access Security Broker and unstructured data discovery. You will lead a squad (engineers, business analysts and testers) to execute the roadmap and support the products that are delivered.
Your Experience Systems Engineer with proficient expertise across AWS and possesses the ability to develop new tools and AWS native cloud solutions.
- Understanding of AWS Infrastructure.
- Experience with and knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools like Github, GitHub Action, TeamCity, CI/CD pipeline desirable.
- Understanding of DevOps/SRE Best Practices: Logging, Monitoring, Security.
- Experience in Cloud System Engineering and Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Understanding of IaC toolset (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform,).
- Experience working with cloud native security and monitoring services such as AWS Config, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, AWS SecruityHub and AWS GuardDuty
- A history in working with Infrastructure as Code (highly desirable; Lambda, Cloudformation, CDK, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline).
- Experience developing new tools and AWS Native cloud services to be integrated across the bank.
- Understanding of scripting/programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python etc, as well as good Windows/Linux Server experience.
