Role Overview
GPI is looking for a Product Manager, and this will be a critical role in our Product Management department, which also serves as a key conduit between Product, Software Development and our clients. The Product Manager will ensure that our data and software products are focused on meeting GPI's strategic goals and client needs. The candidate will be responsible in developing and maintaining comprehensive product roadmaps for products and data, that align with business goals and customer needs. Overall collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, and sales, to drive successful product management through its lifecycle. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables Customer and Market Engagement: Plan & implement effective positioning of organizational offerings to the potential customers. Helping customers through the product awareness & understanding. Developing a thought leadership. Ensure that all customers/end-users have access to training sessions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to identify and prioritise key product initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, and sales, to drive successful product management through its lifecycle. Work with internal stakeholders to develop marketing strategy and materials. Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and escalations Work closely with product owners for new feature requirements & it’s prioritizations. Internal Enablement and Training: Educating internal teams with product offering including sales collateral, training sessions, knowledge bases etc Ensure that all internal stakeholders have access to training sessions. Planning & Monitoring: Oversee product, data and feature definition and prioritisation. Develop and manage the product portfolio budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams. Develop and maintain comprehensive product roadmaps that align with business goals and customer needs. Review product metrics daily and oversee the facilitation of the creation and update roadmaps, user stories, and backlogs among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure that products meet documented acceptance criteria Process Defining & Optimization: Define and build a customer on-boarding process to ensure from the time of order to cash, the process delivers an exceptional customer experience. Oversee facilitation of brainstorming and ideation across business units and product teams. May define new processes and workflows to address highly integrated products and drive change management Define high-level features and functionalities. Involvement in business rule decision-making. Insight Driven Research Analysis & Risk Management: Proactively conduct market research and identify new product opportunities while balancing the trade-offs for creating new products with a focus on innovation. Analyse user data and platform usage. Be a steward for the long-term health of the product by leveraging customer feedback loops, data & business needs to establish & drive outcome-based product experiences. Determine whether to enhance, replace, or retire the platform. Analyse data and metrics to evaluate product performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Identify potential risks to product success and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively. Monitor system performance and address any issues. Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, KPI achievement, and product performance to senior leadership and stakeholders. 3 years+ experience as a product manager (Experience in Life science/Market access industry will be preferred). Strong experience in a dynamic product management role. Prior Product Owner (PO) experience. Previous experience in software and web development. High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams. Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Job tags
