Job Description Senior Accountant
- Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
- Preparing financial analyses and reports.
- Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
- Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assisting with annual audit preparations.
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
- Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
- Handle Day to Day Company & Trust Accounts.
- Should be able to prepare the data for submission for Internal Audit.
- Should have sound knowledge to manage statutory compliance.
- Should be able to prepare MIS Reports
- Should have good Knowledge to keep accounts up to date as per the requirements of the Auditors.
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results

- Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Awareness of business trends
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills including V-Lookups and pivot tables
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant / Or Pursuing CA / ICWA.
