Job description

Are you a highly effective communicator who wants to help end hunger? Do you want to be part of a Christian response to hunger?

We’re looking for a Communications and Marketing Manager to join our team at Canadian Foodgrains Bank. We need someone who is skilled in not-for-profit communications and marketing with experience in team leadership. You’ll ideally bring a combination of skills in media relations, content writing, direct mail campaigns, digital advertising, cross cultural communications, brand management, social media management, and best practices for website communications. It’s a lot, but you get it.

You will supervise a team of four and lead a robust and strategic marketing and communications program. You will be building brand identity and trust for the Foodgrains Bank because your mandate includes increasing the number of our supporters so we can expand our contribution to a world without hunger.

This position is ideally based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, but alternate locations will be considered.

Visit our website at www.foodgrainsbank.ca for more information on who we are and who we’re looking for, a complete job description, and application information.

At the Foodgrains Bank we believe that a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace makes us a more relevant and effective organization and reflects our belief that all people are created equal and have a role to play in the mission of ending global hunger. We welcome applications from people from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and identities.

Applicants must be eligible for employment in Canada at the time of application.

Canadian Foodgrains Bank is a partnership of 15 Canadian churches and church-based agencies working together to respond to global hunger.
