Position Overview
Zelis is a leading US-based company that operates in Healthcare Information Technology. We have established a Shared Services Center in India to provide Accounting and Financial services to our US-based operations.
We are currently seeking a skilled Sr. AR Analyst to join our Shared Services Team in India. The Sr. AR Analyst will play a key role in creating monthly invoices and applying cash remittances, as well as assisting with the monthly close process.
Key Responsibilities - Create monthly invoices in Workday, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review bank activity and apply customer cash remittances to open Accounts Receivable invoices.
- Assist the Accounting Team to perform month-end close tasks.
- Assist Accounts Receivable Manager with researching customer questions and requests.
- Update Blackline with necessary supporting documentation.
- Provide support for external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline processes.
Required EDUCATION AND professional experience: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of ERP environments. Experience with Workday Financials a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Prior experience working in a Shared Services Center preferred, primarily supporting a Technology company.
Work Environment - Expectation to work primarily in the Zelis-India office on a regular basis (minimum 3 days a week)
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours as required to collaborate with teams outside of India.
