JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop sufficient understanding of the system(s) to be tested in order to be able to assess what the system is meant to do, its key features and who will use it and subsequently to develop a system(s) test plan.
- Understand the payroll process across countries, develop / design E2E scenarios / Test cases and execute them.
- Prepare and execute the Test Strategy and plan for all projects.
- Create & maintain high-quality documentation for test processes & test art facts.
- Review and continuously optimize the testing processes, tools, timescales, costs, levels of effort and skill levels within the Testing team.
- Identify test data per-requisites and environment per-requisites and get the per-requisites done before Execution start.
- Conduct Static testing on the test requirements and design and highlight issues (if any) to the relevant stakeholders. Undertake shift left activities in the test cycle.
- Manage & track design defects to timely resolution using industry standard tools.
- To co-ordinate and manage engagements with Service Delivery, Operations team and vendor management.
- Engage with the business stakeholders to understand the Business processes and identify / agree the User Acceptance testing scope.
- To manage communications and report Testing activities & status to key stakeholders
- Perform/manage System Integration testing, User Acceptance test management, Regression testing, Automation Testing and Performance testing.
- Plan the test execution and track the progress on daily basis.
- To ensure the scope of all testing is sufficient ensure a comprehensive level of test coverage but does not repeat tests.
- To undertake Test Design Assurance checks to ensure that only 'fit-for-purpose' code is delivered into test environments etc.
