Role Profile
We have an exclusive opportunity for a business-facing Data Quality Analyst to join our dynamic team within the London Stock Exchange Group.
Collaborating with the Senior Service Delivery Manager this role is responsible for handling the analysis and resolution of Operational Data Quality issues. There DQ issues have a high impact and are critical to comply to the regulatory reporting and data asks from Group Risk and Regulatory Compliance Teams.
Working directly with the Ops Res, divisional and technology team you will be helping to fix data issues tactically and strategically. This will require knowledge and expertise of working with data in raw formats like Excel and working with more structured data sources from corporate data systems. You will also need to understand the Data Modelling and Lineage across all CDC integrations.
The role sits within the Corporate Technology Delivery function which provides technology services to Corporate Functions Teams for LSEG. The role holder will collaborate across the function, being an advocate for their own delivery projects and harnessing support where required for cross-function deliveries.
Objectives of this Role - Craft and innovate process to support remediation of all data quality issues impacting the Operational Resilience data initiatives
- Act as a centralised team to support analysis, fixing and reporting of DQ issues.
- Provide consultative mentorship for data management and governance within the company.
- Collaborate with collaborators across departments to address gaps and difficulties and improve the maturity of the overall process
Key Responsibilities
As a Business-facing Analyst, You Will Be Responsible For - Working with business teams, CDC tech team and data owners to identify, analyse and fix the data quality issues across Ops Res.
- Handle the DQ issue backlog in ServiceNow and communicate the updates timely.
- Work with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, SMEs, Engineering Team to understand functional and non-functional data requirements to automate the data quality processes.
- Handle the identification and implementation of data quality rules to enable detection of poor data quality at source
- Advance the recurring issues to the right architecture and tech forums to identity and implement strategic fixes.
- Research and make recommendations for training, process, and technology to improve data quality.
- Support design and implementation of data management systems and solutions.
Candidate Profile / Key Skills
- Working experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in Data Management roles covering Data Quality, Data Governance and Support
- Should have knowledge around data modelling, data lineage and Data Architecture concepts.
- Hands on experience with data profiling and quality management tools
- Able to craft Leadership Reports and Dashboard to highlight DQ Trends
- Working in an agile team between business collaborators, developers, and testers is important.
- Previous experience of working with service management, support and scrum teams is beneficial.
- Solid understanding of analytics, data science and BI Tools
- Solid experience in business analysis / business process mapping and conceptualisation techniques
- Domain experience of risk and resilience would be a merit.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow would be beneficial
- Knowledge of PowerBI is helpful
- Able to adequately gather business and technical requirements

- Excellent at handling and influencing a wide network of collaborators,
- Willing and able to challenge customers and collaborators to better understand their needs;
