Job description

The candidates will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits for Australian entities. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess strong business acumen.

The role is on-site only and no work-from-home option is available.

Responsibilities Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs Prepare tax documents Compile and analyze financial statements Manage budgeting and forecasting Preparation of year-end financial statements. Preparation of tax returns for various entities viz. Trust, Company, Partnerships, Individuals and SMSF Preparation of GST return (Activity Statements) Preparation of FBT return. Periodical cash flow projection and tax planning Bookkeeping and Payroll processing.

Qualifications Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field. Experience using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, Class, and BGL360. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong time-management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines. Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Experienced candidates with Australian taxation and accounting will be an added advantage.

Candidates with 2-3 years in Indian CA firms with relevant exposure the audit, preparation of Financial Statements, and Tax Returns can also apply.
