Key Responsibilities & Experience Range - Data Governance implementation, specifically having implementation experience in Asset management/finance background
- Experience in implementation using Data Governance DAMA principles
- Partner with Data Governance teams (both SSGA and Corp EDGM) to define Collibra implementation roadmap for SSGA
- Communicate Collibra roadmaps to IT Leaders to gain support from application teams
- Collaborate with broader SSGA & Corp IT teams to implement Data Lineage and Data Quality
- Responsible for innovative design and implementation of enterprise data governance, data catalogue and data management platforms.
- Work closely with product team members and development partners to shape the architecture, design, and implementations of new and existing systems to enhance their reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Automation of deployment and configuration processes.
- Develop standardized approaches, patterns and blueprints to secure design, scripted deployment, and maintenance tasks..
- Techno-Functional role in building the Metamodel, Business Glossary, Reference Data, Data Catalog, Policy Manager, Scorecards and Data Governance Workflows .
- Creating enterprise level Data Governance Operating Model for large organizations using Data Catalog (preferably Collibra).
- Responsible for delivering smooth operations of Data Management Tools specifically Collibra Data Governance
- Involved in Data Governance steering committee meetings with clients to finalize Data Governance Strategy and Roadmap.
- Creating enterprise level Data Governance Operating Model for large organizations using Collibra and Designed data governance policies, rules & process flows for Glossary, Metadata, Lineage &Stewardship.
- Design assessment questionnaire covering data management knowledge areas and sub areas. E.g., data governance, data quality, data architecture, data security etc.
- Worked on defining Master Data, Reference Data and Data Lineage using Collibra Data Catalog.
- Collaborated with IT team to prioritize and address issues and opportunities regarding data sourcing, business rules, data aggregation, data distribution, and data consumption.
- Manage data issues, as needed, and medium to large data management-related projects of varying levels of scope and complexity.
- Developing POC(s) around Data Quality and Business Asset Cataloging and integration with 3rd Party Systems.
- Use Rest APIs to develop custom integrations including designing the JSON format for data movement between Collibra and enterprise applications during integration
- Knowledge on multi-dimensional data modelling, entity relationship (ER) models, data warehousing and data mart, reporting and overall BI concepts
- Strong Knowledge in Change Management across Change Initiation, Impact Analysis, Change Validation, Change Implementation and Change Communication
Skills & Knowledge Qualification & Certifications - Typical Years of Experience: 12 to 15 years in IT
- Minimum Education or Certification: Engineering Degree or MCA
- Proven ability to deliver results in a matrix organization driving delivery excellence through influence and team working
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude to problem-solving and have excellent analytical & communication capabilities. Should be able to identify common technical and operational problems, evaluate potential solutions and provide relevant advice
- Ability to take end-to-end accountability with minimal support
- Language: Fluent in English (oral and written)
Primary Skills (Must Have)- Data Governance implementation, specifically having implementation experience in Asset management/finance background
- Experience in implementation using Data Governance DAMA principles
- Proven track record in managing data projects with hands-on experience on Data cataloguing, Creating Technical Lineages using Technical Lineage Harvester Tool, Building Glossary and mapping with Technical Metadata.
- End to end understanding of building Metamodel, Business Glossary, Reference Data, Data Catalog, Policy Manager, Scorecards and Data Governance Workflows on Collibra.
- Key technologies in scope are : Collibra Enterprise Data Catalogue(Must have) and Cloud platforms (AWS/ Azure), SaaS.
- Solid understanding and working knowledge of APIs, Micro-services, Containers, Data Mesh, Data Products, VMs etc
Secondary Skills (Good To Have)- Good understanding of Agile/Edge, DevOps project methodologies.
- Experience of translating business requirements into technical implementations based on value drivers, functional/non-functional requirements, including health, safety, security, usability, data, and supportability considerations.
- Experience with scripting and automation (Infrastructure as Code), Microsoft PowerShell, Terraform and CI/CD pipeline is a plus.
- Experience with source code management and familiarity with source control tools and repositories such as Github, Azure Devops etc is a plus.
USP of the Role As a Data Governance Implementation expert, you will work on setting up the Data Governance at an Enterprise level and work towards the adoption of the Collibra platform along with key stakeholders and end users. As Collibra DIC expert, you will have a strong background in data governance data cataloguing, data lineage preferably on Collibra tool and cloud platforms. Job ID: R-745052
