Job description
Seva Tarang Foundation is seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of Seva Tarang Foundation and collaborating with our diverse range of clients to bring their projects to life through creative and impactful design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop creative concepts and design solutions that align with Seva Tarang Foundation's branding guidelines and objectives.
- Work closely with our clients from various NGOs to understand their project requirements and translate them into visually compelling design assets.
- Conceptualize and create a wide range of visual materials, including social media graphics, infographics, brochures, posters, and newsletters, to effectively communicate our clients' messages and initiatives.
- Produce high-quality graphic designs that effectively convey complex ideas and information in a clear and visually appealing manner, while maintaining brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of design assets that meet our clients' expectations and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to coordinate the production and printing of design materials, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
- Stay up to date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of our visual communications.
- Maintain an organized archive of design files and assets for easy access and retrieval and provide support to our clients as needed throughout the design process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects for clients across various sectors.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro), Corel draw and other graphic design and Audio/Video editing software.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, with the ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling designs.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Experience working in a non-profit or social sector organization is a plus but not mandatory.
