Job description
Act as a subject matter expert in Data Security and Data Governance
Drive security assessments based on ISO/IEC 27001 with our partners
Document data-related policies and participate in end-user queries
Understand the engineering environment and workflows to identify security risks and solutions to address them in the short and long term.
Research and evaluate new security solutions, pilot/test, and promote adoption within the business group.
Communicate directly with executive management to provide status of projects and security incidents
Build productive working relationships with internal teams and solution vendors
Education and Experience
Bachelor s degree Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems. Master s degree is preferred
5+ years of experience in areas like Information Security, Data Security or Data Governance
Experience working in a matrix organization with remote stakeholders across a global organization, and multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Software or computer scripting and automation background.
Solid knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL4, COBIT standards and privacy laws/regulations
General knowledge of operating systems, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Desktop as a Service (Daas).
Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies.
Facilitation skills with the ability to drive issues to closure.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills or experience. Insightful, problem-solving, detail-oriented, solution-oriented
