Associate Director, Medical Affairs Analytics

The LCCI (Lilly Capability Centre India), BI&A (Business Insights & Analytics) team was started in 2017 with the objective of supporting business decisions for the commercial and marketing functions in the US and ex-US affiliates. This team is part of the LCCI - Commercial Services organization and works very closely with business analytics team based in Indianapolis (HQ). The team currently comprises of 150+ team members, with varied backgrounds and skills across data management, analytics and data sciences, business, and commercial operations etc.

One of the key sub-functions under BI&A is Medical Affairs Business Insights and Analytics. The team based in LCCI is responsible for enablement of analytics insights for our Medical Affairs business partners. The LCCI Medical Affairs Analytics team is currently looking for a leader who will be responsible for managing Medical Affairs Analytics execution and delivery team, ensuring the analytics engagement model successfully supports the Medical Affairs organization in making data-driven decisions.

The Associate Director will be part of a growing and dynamic team of analytics professionals whose main goal is to help our business partners achieve their goals through data analytics enablement.u00A0 The Associate Director is the single point of contact for Medical Affairs analytics delivery in LCCI focused on specific Business Units or Cross BU level analytics needs. This analytics leader will be responsible for ensuring business decisions are backed by data driven insights and recommendations from analytics.

The Associate Director will play a leadership role in developing execution plans for the prioritized analytics workstreams, in conjunction with teammates in the US. They will closely partner and collaborate to ensure the broader team is aligned with key execution priorities and is able to meet (and exceed) our business partnersu2019 expectations for delivery of high-quality analytic results.

The position will leverage their deep understanding of various LillyUSA & Medical Affairs specific data sources to lead execution of critical analyses, and to communicate key outputs to decision makers. This analytics leader will be responsible for ensuring business decisions are backed by data driven insights and recommendations from analytics.

For the same, the incumbent will:

- partner with the US Med Affairs Business Insights and Analytics leaders and take ownership of quality and effectiveness of analyses,

- structure and refine current delivery by building a strong process-focused culture,

- plan and build capabilities to meet strategic business needs, and

- build and leverage relationships with stakeholders across BI&A, GMAO, VEO, BU Medial Affairs and Tech@Lilly teams to drive effective outcomes.
