This open position is for Armanino India LLP, which is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino LLP (USA).
Job Responsibilities: - Manage and coordinate a varied-level team across multiple Consulting practice lines, ensuring efficient and effective workflow, and coordinating individually assigned tasks with engagement managers based on the team member's strengths and expertise.
- Act as the primary point of contact for India-sourced Consulting resources with US based engagement leaders.
- Work with India Consulting team members to ensure adherence to timelines and overseeing successful task completion.
- Coordinate training with Consulting and Practice Area leadership, ensuring that through this training, team members deliver accurate and quality engagement deliverables, and staying abreast of changes in appropriate laws and regulations, as appropriate.
- Where appropriate, implement and optimize efficient Consulting engagement processes, identifying and implementing areas for improvement, and managing risks associated with the various engagements.
- Review with team members assigned engagement contracts assisting them in understanding requirements and parameters to ensure: a) appropriate fulfillment and their assigned responsibilities, as well as 2) understanding where change orders may be necessary when work activities go beyond the stated engagement requirements.
- Bring an entrepreneurial, first principles thinking approach to building and optimizing processes and operations.
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm, such as Tax and Trust teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to client service and overall firm objectives.
- Deeply invest in people. Assist in implementing career path options, performance evaluation criteria, growth opportunities and culture.
- Serve as a mentor and a role model to the team members and motivates to push their limits to achieve professional excellence.
- Working with the various Consulting Practice leaders, develop a training, career path regimen for each Consulting team member, and track progress on an ongoing basis.
- Working with various Consulting Practice leaders, gather performance information to serve as input for periodic team member reviews.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements: - A minimum of 10 years of team management experience having successfully and directly managed a team or teams of at least 30 people within at least one position in your background.
- Minimum 5 years of prior experience in the areas of quality control, training and team development.
- Conversational knowledge and limited proficiency on a majority and variety of business systems and applications including, but not limited to D365, Workday, Service Now, Intacct, Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications as necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively with business executives in an informal and formal context
- First principles thinker with an entrepreneurial and growth mindset
