Job Description
Job Summary:
Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies, materials, parts, tools, and equipment necessary to provide timely service in a cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, safeguard, maintain, and disburse parts, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure that inventory count is adequate, cost effective, and accurate using various methods such as a full inventory count, cycle counting, or spot checking.
- Determine stocking levels, and reorder points, and obsolescence.
- Maintain inventory as necessary to maintain stocking levels
- Receive inventory appropriately, checking shipping documents for accuracy and storing inventory appropriately for safekeeping and efficient retrieval
- Safeguard inventory to reduce costs caused by factors such as misappropriation or damage.
- Disburse inventory as appropriate and with documentation to ensure proper accounting.
- Monitor work for compliance with established methods, guidelines, standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education
- Any Graduation
- Exposure to Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001: 2015 & ISO 45001: 2018 / OH&S Management ) is an advantage
- Experience
- 4-5 years of Experience in Steel / Cement / Ferrochrome / Any Process Plant Operation in maintaining and safeguarding inventory in a manufacturing/service setting.
- Experience in an automotive, truck, or heavy equipment service setting is preferred.
- Proficient in English, Hindi & Telugu Language.
- Should be well versed with MS Office Suite & Oracle/ SAP Applications.
