'Mechanical Technician - Sig combi bloc machine' urgently required for Dairy company Plant at Muscat Oman

Job Purpose: This position is responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of Filling Lines,
Processing equipment. Which includes maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of
all mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment including processing
equipment, separators, Homogenizers, PHEs, Tanks, motors, pumps, agitators,
valves and valve matrix and conveyor systems by following standard GMP practices
of Dairy plant.

Job Description:

ï'· Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
ï'· Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
ï'· Diagnosing the issue and making the corresponding repairs to address
malfunctioning machines.
ï'· Repair and perform preventive maintenance on machines as per established standards to avoid machine downtime.
ï'· To carry out preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and
troubleshooting of filling and packaging machines like Index, Novapac and SIG combibloc.
ï'· To carry out Maintenance and troubleshooting of Tetra Pak processing
equipment, PHEs, Tank agitators, Valve matrix, Homogenizers and separators.
ï'· To carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of Packaging equipments, conveyors and robots
ï'· Keep Meticulous Records of Machine Service History
ï'· Analyze Machine Test Results and make adjustments using diagnostic tools and to meet Company Specifications and optimal performance
ï'· Follows safety protocol and food safety protocols and GMP practices

Qualification & Skills

ï'· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI with strong Dairy plant experience.
ï'· Proven experience as a mechanical technician; Must have Experience in dairy plant and GCC experience is preferred.
ï'· Proven Experience in Tetrapak processing equipment like Homogenizers, Separators, Pasteurizers, Pumps, Valve station, mixers.
ï'· Proven experience in Dairy Fillers and packaging equipment like Tetrapak, Index, Novapac, SIG combi bloc, Mariani, packers and palletizers, conveyors, Pumps and Valve station.
ï'· Knowledge of Mathematics pertaining to machinery and mechanical aptitude
ï'· Ability to read blueprints and recognize mechanical engineering related symbols and specifications.
ï'· critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
ï'· Knowledge of industry safety practices
ï'· Knowledge of specific welding processes, such as TIG, MIG and ARC preferred
ï'· Attention to Detail, Manual Dexterity, Physical Strength, Physical Stamina, Spatial.
