The Opportunity The ESM R&D team is seeking an experienced Automation lead , to join our Global R&D team to deliver innovative enterprise software solutions by working in a fast paced challenging and enriching environment. This is a high-growth business, and our solutions are used by enterprise class highly demanding customers across the globe. We are using a Microservices based architecture composed of multiple services running on Kubernetes using Docker Containers. As a Automation lead, Lead System team comprising of automation and CICD engineers to Drive Quality and efficiency for enterprise software application. Design and architect the overall testing framework and software performance testing strategies, ensuring scalability, modularity, and maintainability. Develop and implement an effective DevOps strategy to improve software delivery efficiency You are good at Has understanding of customer environment and deployment architectures , drive better quality with acceptance testing in customer like environments Drive continuous improvement in Quality and Dev efficiency via systemic process, Quality metrics and automation Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing objectives, scope, and deliverables. Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations. Define software configuration and branching strategy to development teams Provide guidance and mentorship to testing team members. Identify and mitigate testing-related risks throughout the software development lifecycle. What it takes Education and Experience required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Typically, 10 to 12+ years of experience Mandatory Skills : Proven experience as a Software Test Architect/DevOps architect or similar role. Proficiency in Java programming language Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shall script , Python) Design, develop, and maintain Helm charts for various applications and microservices. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible). Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (e.g., GCP , AWS, Azure) Excellent knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong customer focus and ready to delve into complex issues in customer environments to identify root causes. Leadership and mentoring experience. Desirable Skills: Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related areas. Experience with microservices architecture. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.Job tags
