Job description

Job Role: Investment Banking Analyst

About the Role: The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset in financial modeling ,Ininvestor reporting, investor engagement, investor communications, and fundraising.

1.Fund-raising & M&A: The individual shall also support the team during fund-raising by assisting with the preparation of the fund's placement memorandum, investor pitch presentations, due diligence questionnaires, etc.

2. Investor Engagement: Ensuring that all investor engagement activities are duly recorded for future reference and all action items are promptly followed-up until closure. The individual shall assist the team in ensuring that all investor deliverables are attended to within agreed upon timelines. The individual shall also assist with engaging, relationship building and networking with potential investors.

3. Stakeholder Communications: Assisting the leadership team in ensuring that all organizational communication with external media happens on a timely basis, remains error-free and appropriately captures the intended messaging. The individual shall assist with the preparation of all communications that emanate from the organization: press-releases, journalist Q&As, factsheets, etc.

Job Description:

1. The candidate will be required to work closely with the Investment Banking Head on executing PE deals.

2.Build a strong understanding of the organization and the sector in which we operate and use this knowledge to improve the analysis of financial parameters

3. Oversee research and analysis on areas including but not limited to company's primary industry, competitors, macro-factors affecting the industry, company's position within the industry

4. Analyse company, build business models, assess capital requirements, prepare pitch book, design financial models, perform deal structuring and create any other collateral required for deal making

5. Assist in the entire process i.e., deal origination, manage the deal, get competing offers, assist in commercial & legal due diligence and deal closure.

6. Analyse core financial data and create financial models to do various kinds of valuation (Property, business etc). Also work on trends and forecasting.

7. Performing market research (Stocks, commodities etc), data mining, using business intelligence 8. Drafting valuation / research reports, various transaction documents (term sheet, share subscription agreement etc)

9. Creating business plan and preparing deck for investors

10. Fund raising (debt / equity) activities including identifying potential clients/investors.

11. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and adhoc reports, tools, and excel dashboards

Basic qualifications:

BTech, CA, BFM, BMS, MBA, CFA, BBA (Finance)

Experience: 0-3 years of business finance or other relevant experience.

Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Strong Analytical and Data Gathering Skills.
