Job Description :We are seeking an experienced Linux administration with 8-12 years of professional experience in System Administrator with expertise in Linux administration.- Extensive experience in Linux server administration (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu) with the ability to manage and maintain Linux servers at the command-line level.- Advanced scripting skills in Bash or Shell scripting for automation and task execution.- Proven experience in planning and executing disaster recovery strategies, including backup and restore procedures.- Expertise in patch management and system hardening techniques to ensure optimal security.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.- Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with IT teams and end-users.- In-depth understanding of network protocols, firewall configurations, and network security practices.Responsibilities :- Extensive command-line administration of Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.- Creation and execution of complex Bash or Shell scripts for automation of system tasks.- Implementation and management of system hardening procedures to enhance security.- Expertise in configuring and optimizing network security through firewall configurations.- Utilization of monitoring tools to ensure high performance, availability, and security.- Detailed understanding of network protocols and best practices for secure communication.- Implementation and management of security policies, user access control, and security updates.- Contribution to the planning and execution of disaster recovery strategies, including backup and recovery processes.Tools :- Linux : Command-line expertise in administering Linux servers (CentOS, Red Hat, Ubuntu).- Bash/Shell Scripting : Advanced scripting skills for automation of system tasks and processes.- Disaster Recovery Tools : Knowledge of tools and procedures for disaster recovery and data backups.- Patching Tools : Experience in implementing patch management solutions.- Security Hardening Tools : Tools and techniques for securing and hardening Linux systems.- Monitoring Tools : Proficiency in system monitoring tools to ensure performance and security.- Network Security Tools : Familiarity with tools for configuring firewalls and enhancing network security.Good To Have Skills / Experience :1.
