If you have a passion for designing, love pets, and possess expertise in Adobe Illustrator, product management, design thinking, negotiation & problem-solving, pattern making, and prototyping, then this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key responsibilities:
1. Create innovative and visually appealing designs for our pet merchandise, including collars, leashes, clothing, and accessories
2. Collaborate with the product management team to understand market trends, customer preferences, and competitive analysis to develop merchandise concepts that meet market demands
3. Utilize design thinking principles to brainstorm and ideate new product concepts that align with our brand image and appeal to our target audience
4. Apply your strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to source materials, negotiate pricing with vendors, and ensure high-quality standards are met
5. Develop patterns and prototypes for new merchandise, considering functionality, durability, and pet comfort
6. Continuously analyze customer feedback, sales data, and market research to identify opportunities for product enhancements and design improvements
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to develop effective merchandising strategies and promotional materials that drive sales and brand recognition
