Job description
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead in Chittoor. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the existing 6 reactors and overseeing the expansion project to include 4 more reactors. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise, leadership skills, and operational acumen.
- Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the plant by streamlining processes, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
- Establish and enforce ISO 9001 quality management systems to ensure consistency and quality in all operations.
- Lead the expansion project, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Oversee budgeting, cost management, and financial planning to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, regulatory bodies, and local authorities, to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Embrace and integrate new technologies to enhance plant performance and sustainability.
Requirements
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in plant operations, with a focus on tire pyrolysis or similar industrial processes.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale industrial operations and projects.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in industrial operations.
