Reporting to : Assistant Manager

Geo to be supported : Canada

Work timings : 11am - 8pm

Roles & Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for creating and editing learning materials supporting a variety of learning programs and projects organized by the Audit Learning and Development team at KPMG Canada. Materials created must be accurate, visually appealing, interactive and expertly programmed.

  • Develop and update eLearning courses
  • Support translation of eLearning courses
  • Convert training materials from instructor-led to eLearning
  • Create and edit learning videos, PDFs, assessments, participant materials and audio transcripts
  • Perform testing and documentation of deliverables

Educational Qualifications

This role is for you if you have:

Graduate or above -Degree in instructional design, educational technology or equivalent experience will be preferred

Work Experience

6-8 years of learning design and development experience in designing and developing engaging instructional content that effectively addresses learner, performance and business gaps

Mandatory Technical & Functional Skills

  • Expertise in Articulate 360, specifically Rise and Storyline
  • Expertise in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience with video editing software
  • High standards of verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High proficiency in English writing and grammar
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to liaise and collaborate with onshore clients, colleagues and staff at all levels of the firm
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple deliverables under simultaneous development.
  • Ability to work quickly and independently
  • Good knowledge of adult learning principles, learning theories and instructional design modules
  • Good visual design skills

Preferred Technical & Functional Skills

Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., SAP)

Key Behavioral Attributes/requirements

Experience with other rapid development tools

Lead tasks without supervision, manage self workload and quality and provide support to junior colleagues and management, as and when required

Remain calm under pressure and be confident and self-motivated, initiating action to improve service to the business.

Flexible in adapting to a variety of engagement types and working styles, and strong time management skills
