About the department

The Commercial & Corporate Affairs – Global Business Services (CCA GBS) unit is responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Senior Vice President (SVP) and Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas, including Global Public Affairs and Sustainability (GPAS), Patient Access, Marketing, Commercial Planning and Content hub.   

With a significant growth outlook for Novo Nordisk, it is of very high importance that the right environmental solutions are created to drive the change towards zero environmental impact. In addition to driving innovative market development and communication efforts, the unit is responsible for the global commercialization and optimization of Saxenda(R) and Obesity & NASH pipelines.

The position -
We are looking for a driven and motivated individual with good experience within the Life Cycle Assessment area to -

-Conduct Life Cycle Assessments - Collect data, update, and develop models, update and develop reports, having reports certified by third party (PWC). Collection of LCA relevant data in the organisation, maintain and update the existing carbon footprint reports and prepare new when needed and perform calculations in GABI.
-Estimate environmental metrics based on best available data sources within e.g. CO2 emissions, waste, use of chemicals, etc. Forecast Novo Nordisk’s performance within environmental metrics. Apply best-practice standards for calculations and provide insights to calculations and methodology.
-Prepare data for controlling and review by external auditors. Support requests for data formats within environmental data.     
-Maintain and support IT system with environmental data. Manage and maintain the IT system SOFI (for registration of environmental data) including support to SOFI users. Quality assurance of environmental data and perform necessary ICQ.

 

Qualifications:

-You hold an academic degree (MSc, MA or similar) within communication studies, business administration, or social sciences.
-Formal training (courses or on-the-job) in project management and/or production management.
-Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in an international business environment.
-Experience in print and digital production management, such as production planning, design, proof-reading, quality control, print, vendor management, budget management and administration.
-Solid knowledge and experience in managing business processes and strategy development.
-Solid understanding of corporate sustainability and global issues, especially within environmental areas.
-Experienced in the discipline of project and portfolio management.
-Experienced in corporate annual reporting.

-Experience from working or studying abroad, or in international environment.
