Job Description:
As a Siemens PCS7 & WinCC Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining process control systems using Siemens PCS7 and WinCC platforms. You will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality automation solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, programming, testing, and commissioning Siemens PCS7 control systems for industrial automation projects.
- Developing HMI/SCADA applications using WinCC for process visualization and control.
- Configuring communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet) for seamless integration of control devices and systems.
- Conducting system troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborating with project teams to define system requirements, develop functional specifications, and create technical documentation.
- Providing technical support to clients during system installation, commissioning, startup, and operation phases at on site location.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process automation and control systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years to 5 years of hands-on experience with Siemens PCS7, Siemens PLCs and WinCC platforms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as PLC Ladder Language, FBD, SCL (Structured Control Language) and CFC (Continuous Function Chart) for PCS7 programming.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience in designing and implementing HMI/SCADA applications using WinCC.
- Experience in PLC programming (Siemens S7 series) and other automation platforms is a plus.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel for on-site project support.
