Position Title : -Chief Financial Officer Experience :- 20-30yrs Location :-Bangalore Note: Candidates from IT/Software Industry candidates are preferred and Candidates based out of Bengaluru are preferred.
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of our IT services company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing financial strategies that drive sustainable growth and profitability, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with other senior executives to achieve business objectives and enhance shareholder value. Position reports to CEO of the Company. Job Description CFO / Head of Finance is accountable for global accounting, Business Finance, Statutory Compliance (Taxation) and Risk Management of the company, play an influencing role in the development and implementation of business strategy, development and implementation of Operational Plans, report on key business and operations metrics relevant for the business of the company. Accurate and periodic financial reporting to the CEO and Board, and ensuring compliance of all applicable laws. Principal responsibilities would include: Develop and implement strategic business plan, annual operations plan, monthly Plans, cash flows, bench marking and metrics and monthly review and reporting of operations against operating plans, including cash flows, business achievements, profitability, etc. Budgeting/ Budgetary Control: Formulating Revenue and Capital Budgets for the Business, conducting monthly appraisals of Actual Performance vs. Forecast, analysing variance and suggesting corrective actions in case of negative variances. Finalization of monthly/quarterly and yearly MIS & reporting statements to the stakeholders and instrumental in designing an integrated MIS for various entities of Core Business. Deep understanding of M&A principles, methodologies, and best practices, with a focus on creating value for shareholders and stakeholders. Strong financial modeling skills and analytical capabilities, with the ability to assess complex M&A scenarios and develop actionable recommendations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders throughout the M&A process. Period end reporting to the top management, business owners, Board and investors with a 360 degree view of enterprise performance combining agile budgeting and actionable profitability reporting. Interact with the Board and investors on business analysis and reporting. Be a part of the executive team and take part in key decision processes and work with the business teams for achievement of business objectives. Expect the GM to leverage on his / her past experience & network for achieving business goals. Be responsible for the legal function and play a proactive role on business contracting with customers, vendors and other business partners of the company. Ensure compliance of applicable taxes, viz., income tax, withholding taxes, VAT, Service Tax, etc. Accounting and reporting in line with the applicable accounting standards and completion of statutory / internal audit within agreed timelines. CANDIDATE PROFILE:- The Ideal candidate must be a CA or a Management graduate from a top management institute and must have at least 20-28 years of experience including 12-15 years of leadership experience, Competencies Candidate must have possess a track record of exceptional performance in key leadership financial positions and have demonstrated leadership ability, team management; must be highly self-driven individual with a track record for achievements; be articulate and an effective communicator. Must have proven experience working with Indian IT services/Global IT services companies in the past, and must have strong experience in M&A. Proven experience (10 years) as a CFO or senior finance executive in the IT services industry or a related sector. Deep understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with hands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Track record of driving financial performance, managing complex projects, and leading organizational change initiatives.
