Job Title: Database Administration Senior

Position Description:
Providing assistance to the application team in identifying database problems
Good Handson working knowledge on
Performance Tuning
Alwayson Mirroring and Replication.
Backup and Recovery.
SQL server Version Database migrations.
creating and troubleshooting SQL Server Agent Jobs.
Database Maintenance activity.
Database files management
Good Troubleshooting skill for SSIS package.
Knowledge on TDE encryption
Exposure to TDP / TSM / Veeam for data backup and recovery.
Database Security adherence.
Coordinate with customers / other teams / vendors in resolving requests and incidents.
Process adherence process improvements and knowledge management Automate the daily tasks using PowerShell.
Involve in problem management.
Working knowledge on SCOM / Vrops / monitoring tool
Skills Required:
Strong in SQL server administration (HA performance tuning backups monitoring auditing)
Strong in PowerShell scripting Terraform coding
Strong knowledge in any of the google cloud DB technologies ( Cloud SQL PostgreSQL Spanner etc.. )
Experience Required:
Strong in SQL server administration (HA performance tuning backups monitoring auditing)
PowerShell scripting Terraform work experience
Work experience in any of the DB technologies like Mongo PostgreSQL Redis AlloyDB google spanner
Cohesity backup tool
Education Required:
Strong in SQL server administration (HA performance tuning backups monitoring auditing)
PowerShell scripting Terraform work experience
Work experience in any of the DB technologies like Mongo PostgreSQL Redis AlloyDB google spanner
Education Preferred:
Chef/ Habitat knowledge
VRA/VRO knowledge
