Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with advanced technical expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of specialized areas of technology, excel in complex problem-solving, and demonstrate leadership in code quality. This role requires strategic thinking, mentorship capabilities, and effective cross-functional communication skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced technical expertise to solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions in software development.
  • Lead the team in maintaining high standards of code quality and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Think strategically about technology and product development to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Actively mentor junior engineers and lead by example in technical proficiency and professional conduct.
  • Communicate effectively across different teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Take ownership of large projects, from inception to delivery, and be accountable for outcomes.
  • Provide technical guidance and make significant architectural decisions to drive project success.
  • Bring innovative ideas to improve products or processes, advocating for best practices and influencing project direction.
  • Design and implement web applications to meet requirements, resolve system deficiencies, and implement change requests within the change control process.
  • Analyze software requirements and deliver maintainable software solutions in high-throughput production systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft .NET development, particularly in building web applications and forms using ASP.NET Web Forms in C#.
  • Develop and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures, including profiling and optimization.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps and GIT Version Control for managing work items and source code in a multi-developer environment.
  • Apply object-oriented software design and development skills, emphasizing industry standard programming practices such as easy-to-read/maintain code, unit testing, and code reviews.
  • Develop and consume web services to query SQL databases, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Create interactive public-facing websites that interface with SQL databases directly or via web services, providing engaging user experiences.
