Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Procurement Engineer for our Bangalore office. As a Corporate Procurement Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement process of goods and services for our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining the highest quality standards and adhering to company policies and procurement ethics. Candidate will be responsible to Float Enquiries, Followup for supplier Bids, Tabulate Commercial Bids, Create PO and followup for supplier Deliveries

Key Responsibilties:

Procurement Strategy Development:Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy in coordination with procurement lead.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and prioratize procurement activities to meet buisness needs.

Vendor Management: Evaluate and select vendors based on their capability, pricing, quality, and reliability. Cultivate strong relationships with key vendors and negotiate favorable terms and conditions to secure advantageous contracts.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with suppliers, optimizing value while minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various requesting departments, including finance, to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions to support their objectives.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks related to geopolitical factors, economic fluctuations,Pandemics and supplier dependencies.

Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines throughout the procurement process

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices.

Procurement Terms & Condition: Shall be well conversant with ContractTerms and condition depending on category of item/Services to be Purchased

Qualifications

1.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

  1. Minimum10 years of relevant experience in corporate procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of successful projects and cost savings.

3.Comprehensive knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiations, and supplier management.

4.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

5.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

6.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

7.Proficiency in procurement software and tools like ORACLE E-Business Suite skills ( PO Staff, Supplier Management, Item Creation ,supplier creation) and an awareness of functions of the other module
