Purpose of the role

Oracle Financial Functional Consultant shall be responsible for Oracle Financials Configuration, designing, application management, troubleshooting, monitoring updates and support period end close, and providing end user support. Candidate shall provide support in project management tasks during development of new applications.

Key Responsibilities

Service delivery:

• Manage SDLC development including design, development and updation of systems
• Manage application tickets, update status, diagnosis information adding, KPI definition and publication
• Use remote support tools to install, change or assist with various technical issues and requests
• Fully unit test and integration test new/changed services prior to delivery to the customer
• Handle technical queries related to application and products
• Provide on-call support for systems issue resolution
• Directly manage the configuration and operational management of Oracle Financials
• Develop technical handbooks to represent the design and code of new applications

Person Specification

Education B.Engg/ BCA - Finance (MBA) is preferred Experience 3-6 years Certification (Desired) Oracle Implementation Championship

Functional Skills

• Demonstrable experience as an application support engineer or similar role
• Strong understanding of software design and programming principles
• Ability to manage configurations, instance migration, document configuration changes, and monitor performance
• Exceptional ability to provide front-end support to internal departments
• Advanced proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them
• Ability to keep up with innovation in application design
