The Role
The D&C CIO Strategy & Advisory practice targets senior leaders with a range of strategic consulting services. As a senior member of the CIO Strategy and Advisory practice, you are an experienced enterprise architect and strategic advisor. You are comfortable interacting with all levels of client personnel including senior leader and “C” levels. You enjoy leading or being part of a high performance geographically distributed delivery teams. You are enthusiastic about technology and strive to stay current with the latest trends, technologies and business innovations. You are expert with the full range of Enterprise Architecture domains: Business, application, data and technology and embrace the relationship between business and technology. You understand how to integrate business and technology strategies into a cohesive roadmap.
Experience and Qualifications
• 15+ Years’ experience in IT Services with 5 years as an Enterprise Architect, Strategic Advisor in client facing consulting role
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with “C” level clients
• Demonstrable track of successful technology engagement delivery using widely used technologies
• Understanding of management consulting and IT frameworks to align business and IT organizations
• Develop and maintain deep technical relationships with senior and C-level executives - develop new insights into the client’s business model, pain points, strategies, and deliver actionable high-impact results.
• Experience developing strategic road maps for clients incorporating business and technology drivers
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as Alfabet, LeanIX, Abacus, or similar.
• Exposure and development of next generation architecture services, modernization approaches, cloud adoption and thought leadership is highly desirable e.g. microservices architecture, container based ecosystems, cloud native architecture, event based architecture
• In depth knowledge of at least two industry verticals
• 4-year degree in related science/technology/business discipline from accredited institution or equivalent experience required.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with senior client technology leadership and establish credibility as trusted advisor in providing services such as IT Strategy, Target Enterprise Architecture Definition, Digital Transformation, Agile EA Office Setup, Agile EA Governance
• Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standards and methodology for various clients
• Lead the large $million programs in multi-disciplined global delivery team using business centric approach
• Extensive understanding of IT and complete IT project implementation cycle
• Exposure and/or Certifications in formal architecture frameworks such as TOGAF etc. is desired
• Understanding of operating plans, financials and cost/benefit analysis
• Proven team building, negotiation, influencing skills and relationship management are essential
• Self-starter, highly motivated, passionate, enthusiastic and “CAN-DO” attitude
• Strong presentation and communications skills to make both strategic and tactical recommendations and effectively communicate with senior and executive management and service partners (internal and external)
• Provide consultative sales support as required
• Assist with development of intellectual properties, service offerings, and related materials as required
