Job description
We're actively hiring an experienced Medical Coder with passion to lead teams to join us in Chennai. The eligible candidate needs to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in medical coding specializing in Emergency Department (ED), Same-Day Surgery (SDS), and Observation. Able to deliver as per client SLAs
Create and maintain all process documentation and update it on a timely basis
Manage operations through end-to-end planning, process document review and root cause analysis
Assist with new team member training
Ensure attrition and shrinkage targets are met
Review overall staff performance
Process KPI, dashboards and metrics preparations
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong team management skills
Available to work from office
Flexible to work in shifts as per business needs
Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical coding
Experience in Emergency Department (ED), Same-Day Surgery (SDS), and Observation specialties are preferred
Proficiency in leading medical coding team is desired
Good knowledge of using PowerPoint, Excel and other MS Office tools
