Mudskipper Labs is looking for someone to help our Director-CEO in running the overall operations of the production house.
Any production/event management/marketing experience, while not mandatory, will certainly be useful.
Role and responsibilities:
- Manage the overall operations of the company by being a bridge between the production, studio, finance departments & the CEO.
- Oversee the production process from pre-production to post-production, ensuring quality control and timely delivery of projects.
- Assist in planning and coordinating company & production events, both in-house & client facing.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with production teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless operations.
- Create production budgets and Manage financial performance by working closely with the production, creative & finance teams to forecast and track expenses and revenue.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and practices to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Continuously assess and improve the company's operational processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage and prioritise the Director's calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, attend and record minutes for important meetings, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- Support the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Support employee training and development initiatives, including identifying training needs, organizing training sessions.
- Resolve employee relations issues, including conflicts, complaints, and grievances, in a timely and effective manner.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with employees.
- Participate in related projects and initiatives as needed.
- Coordinate with the travel desk in relation to domestic and international travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
- Assist in drafting and editing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools.
- Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- An interest in the outdoors, nature and wildlife.
