Job Description - Title: Delivery Manager
Delivery Manager Position Summary
We are looking to add an enthusiastic and performance driven Delivery Manager to our growing company. This position will report to the CTO. The Delivery Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing multiple projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and according to scope. Plan and coordinate project resources, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. Respond to internal and external customer needs to ensure the quick resolution of bugs and delivery of feature enhancements. In addition, assisting Product Managers to evaluate, define, and prioritize feature enhancements.
Delivery Manager Responsibilities
• Create and manage KPIs to ensure teams are aligned, informed, and performing to expectations.
• Continuously analyze existing processes and technologies to help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality of work.
• Participate in release planning, catalog, and prioritize backlog in collaboration with the product and delivery teams.
• Manage daily standup meetings and planning calls.
• Help manage and maintain product and technology roadmap.
• Ensure and facilitate Resource Allocations as chosen by each practice area per pod.
• Participate in monthly Product update calls.
Delivery Manager Qualifications and Requirements
A Project Manager or Delivery Manager with at least 5 years of experience in a software, SaaS, or mobile application development environment. Excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You're a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback and values the chance to make an important impact.
• BA/BS degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong delivery management skills and excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Portfolio and Program Management concepts.
• Strong understanding of web and mobile development, roll-out, and support risks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• PMP Certification is a plus.
• Experience with Jira.
• Experience managing onshore and offshore development teams.
• Familiar with team organization, creating SOPs.
• Able to create metrics, dashboards, and KPIs.
