About the role
To act as a subject matter expert responsible for continuous improvement of Procure to Pay within the region, understanding best practices and local regulatory requirements to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and own the development of the regional continuous improvement roadmap for Procure to Pay aligned to the Global Carrier Business Services strategy
- Act as an escalation point for the region, working with the Accounts Payable and Disbursement teams to manage incidents, complete RCA and implement preventative actions
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of P2P technology, best practice and trends in the area of Procure to Pay
- Work with the business unit leads, providing direction and SME support to ensure best in class procedures are in place to manage Procure to Pay
- Lead the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives with appropriate engagement, process and governance
- Develop proof of concept / feasibility studies and cost & benefit analysis for initiatives, as required
- Design, manage and deliver projects in line with appropriate engagement, process and governance and kead cross functional virtual teams to implement projects and strategic initiatives
- Perform impact analysis of application changes across various components holding an end-to-end view of the system and take responsibility for the conceptual design of business applications
Requirements
- Work with business stakeholders, Global SME's and cross-functionally to translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs or financial schedules in order to support achievement of business accountabilities
- Contribute to the development of processes and lead the implementation of systems and process improvements
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations as a subject matter expert in Procure to Pay, in order to support the resolution of complex customer cases
- Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships across the organization in order to achieve engagement to change, and provide leadership in the design and development Procure to Pay processes and solutions
- Deploy in-depth knowledge of Procure to Pay to support internal clients by responding to requests and issues, acting within a number of complex processes and procedures to solve internal customer problems in conjunction with internal partners or external vendors
Key Skill
- Demonstrable project management experience with driving change initiatives/managing multi priorities/ innovative thinking
- Proven experience in a related field
- Experience in leading and/or participating in global (virtual) teams
- Excellent level of English language
- Proficiency in French, Spanish or German is desired but not essential
