He/ She would be responsible for overseeing Network Operations / execution of large project, defining and developing network topologies. He/ she should be able to define processes and interact with customer senior network teams and drive sustained Operational excellence. He/ She would be responsible for engaging in early phase of projects and work closely with the internal as well as external customer teams on Program delivery. Cisco (CCIE) certified and preferable to have certification in Riverbed, NetScaler and F5.Responsibilities Creates, Contributes and will ensure adoption and Implementation of industry best practices Develops and lays down processes and procedure for the customer networks Contributes to business growth by expanding and enhancing current service offerings Owns and is accountable for Network delivery Drives continuous improvement in Operations / Project deliveries and individual / team performance. Towards this, measures and analyzes deliveries and performance across Operations / projects with the defined success criteria. Is proactive and the ultimate escalation point on all matters related to all Operations / Programs undertaken and team management Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with customer / Business Units Viewed and perceived as a Role model and a genuine Team Player Problem solving and conflict resolution Ability to Manage diversity in network Ability to resolve problems Experience Total 10+ years of experience, out of which at least 5 years at a core network design Experience in managing diverse and multiple teams and complete ownership and responsibility of the team Excellent communication & interpersonal skills written and oral Should have experience in Riverbed and Load Balancer (Netscaler) Should have expertise in LAN, WAN, MPLS, Frame Relay, QOS,, V-SAT, and Backbone fibre DWDM channels Shall be able to contribute in building HLD & LLD network designs and IP addressing Specialist of IOS L2/L3, IOS-XE and IOS-XR Specialist of BGP, RIPv2, RIPng, EIRGPv4v6, OSPFv2v3, IS-IS (single/multi-topology) and Multicast Should have knowledge of Cisco Nexus 1k 2k 5k 7k, vPC, VDC, 1/10GE, FCoE, FC Unified Ports Expertise in Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series, Cisco 4500 Series, Cisco Catalyst 3750X, 3560 and 2960S Series Switches (VSS, FWSM, NSF and SSO) Performance Routing (PfR) over dual eBGP WAN links (single & multi homing) STP, RSTP, RPVST+ & MST and Multi-Region MST Spanning Tree variants using many extensions for L2 traffic engineering and BPDU control & propagation whilst designing root bridge best practices, this includes Fabric Path integration and various Cisco Nexus vPC STP best practices Should have working knowledge of Netflow, Syslog Servers, SNMPv3 Experience on working with various vendor devices. i.e. Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, F5, Riverbed etc. Cisco ISE/NAC experience Experience with managing Wireless networks (WLC, APs) Checkpoint Next Gen Firewalls.Mandatory Skills Should have managed Large Operations / Projects independently Must have handled client management, transition, transformation and migration of projects Should have working knowledge of Riverbed, Netscaler (Load Balancer), DMVPN, EIGRP, BGP and QoS Firewall knowledge is an additional benefits. In depth knowledge of packet capturing, analysis and correlating it application performance/slowness Should have managed large and complex enough Enterprise network, generating thousands alerts in a day.
