Overall Job Purpose

We are seeking a talented, motivated and creative Digital UI Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Digital UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly digital interfaces that enhance the user experience across various digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, developers, and product managers, to translate conceptual ideas into intuitive and engaging user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities :

• You will help company in their transformation journey by bringing cutting edge designs and contributing to the design language at a pivotal moment for the organisation.
• Design and create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for digital platforms – mobile first and including websites and other digital products
• Collaborate with UX designers to understand customer needs and translate into an effective design solution
• Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines and designs standards across all brands
• Help to maintain and update the design system
• You are able to collaborate and share knowledge within your immediate team as well as work with developers and engineers to transform your design solution into reality.
• Have a passion for delivering customer centric, best in class solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining design excellence
• Able to present and rationalise your own design decision within the team and in front of stakeholders
• You will be responsible for the UI outputs, creating pixel perfect design utilising design system components and contributing to the design system.
• You will be designing for a global product, and you will be working collaboratively with an international team of product designers, marketing designers and other creatives.

Qualifications / Experience

• 2 years of professional experience as a UI Designer
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first approach
• Knowledge of visual design principles, including typography, colour theory and layout
• You have good understanding of visual and user-centered design, as well as brand and strategic objectives.
• You are focused on the finer detail and deliver pixel perfect design.
• Motion design experience (not essential)
• Have worked in Agile
• An understanding of accessibility requirements
• Experience, or passion for B2C and ecommerce
• Have a portfolio which showcases your work examples
