Job description

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic individual to join our team as the Chief of Staff (CoS) for our Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Its a dual role, you will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy of our organization while also providing strategic support and coordination to the CFO.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Lead the financial planning process, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with business units to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure financial performance. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. Business Strategy and Development: Partner with the CFO and executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive business growth and profitability. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and diversification. Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

Chief of Staff (CoS) Responsibilities: Serve as a key advisor and confidant to the CFO, providing strategic support and coordination. Manage the CFO's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements. Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for the CFO's meetings and engagements. Act as a liaison between the CFO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of priorities. Strategic Projects and Initiatives: Lead cross-functional teams on strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and delivery of outcomes. Drive process improvements and efficiencies across finance and other functional areas. Monitor progress on strategic initiatives and provide regular updates to the CFO and executive team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred. Proven experience in finance leadership roles, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis. Demonstrated strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to drive organizational growth and profitability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights. Proven leadership and project management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
