Job description
- Grow Active Beauty business in designated accounts, managing both sales and profitability
- Develop client relationships within designated accounts to make Givaudan the partner of choice. Gain understanding of brand strategies and business needs of key clients, to identify and create sales opportunities and deliver targeted solutions
- Manage any customer issues/complaints to ensure a smooth resolution
- Negotiate prices within agreed pricing guidelines. Manage credit and rebates, where applicable, for designated accounts
- Develop, communicate and implement strategic account plans for key accounts including sales forecasts and budget for key accounts, against agreed KPIs; manage opportunity pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans. Provide regular reviews and delivers status reports on project progress and commercialisation of projects.
- Work closely with other teams in marketing, sales and research to share opportunities and answer the customer needs in an effective an efficient way. Develop and deliver customer presentations.
- Monitor customer and competitor activity in target markets and share with global marketing and R&D teams.
You
Your professional profile includes:
- Bachelor s degree, scientific or business
- 3+ years of account management experience in cosmetic ingredients or related industry
- Technical understanding and the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling stories
- Excellent oral and written communication skills - ability to convey information in an engaging way
- Presentation skills
- Negotiation skills
- Business and commercial acumen
- Project Management skills
- Fluency in English and local language
