Overview

Initiation and leading large projects at Sika India with the help of own resources and engineering consultants and partners. Project management includes scope finalization, execution, cost management and control, site safety management, commissioning and startup, permitting and licensing.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Apply state of the art engineering practices for the project execution
  • Execute project according to approved project budget and schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations along with Engineering and Safety Standards
  • Ensure strict timelines adherence for the Project and ramp up of the Site
  • Establish (select, train, support, guide, coach, supervise and control) project team to successfully carry out this project.
  • Generate monthly project reports and initiate steering committee meetings
  • Obtain necessary approvals for planning, construction and operations of the new plant.
  • Establish and get approved (by MCM, Reg management team and where necessary by KL) the project budget and project time line.
  • Ensure that the whole project execution maintains safe construction environmental protection and high-quality standard
  • Coordinate with related departments for smooth project execution.
  • Initiate and work towards the standardization of production equipment and processes throughout Sika India in close cooperation with the regional management team.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • BE- Mechanical or Chemical
  • 10-15 yrs experience in Engineering & Project management
  • PMP certification is necessary
