Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager to join our team at ORRA Fine Jewellery. As a Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and optimizing store performance. This is a senior-level position with a requirement of 7 to 10 years of experience. The job location is Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This is a full-time position.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager in a retail environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to drive sales and achieve targets
- In-depth knowledge of showroom sales, store management, and sales management
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Proficient in using MS Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Lead a team of sales associates, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
- Achieve sales targets and drive business growth, both in terms of revenue and profitability
- Implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities to attract and retain customers
- Maintain an attractive and well-organized store layout that showcases our products
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training and development programs for the team
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
