Job Overview

We are hiring a Commi 1 Chinese to join our team at Rural Blues The Restobar in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This is a full-time role with an opportunity for growth. As a Commi 1 Chinese, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking Chinese cuisine, maintaining high-quality standards, and assisting other chefs in the kitchen. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Commi 1 or similar role in a kitchen
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in Chinese cuisine
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Basic understanding of restaurant management and operations
• Ability to assist and support other chefs effectively

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Chinese dishes according to recipes and standards
• Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet the restaurant's standards
• Assist in planning and developing new menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
• Assist other chefs in the kitchen as needed
• Monitor and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during service
